AND ANOTHA ONE! Hit another improvement shortly after the previous 2:07, but then got this insane comeback the other day too. Had some rough patches across the board (over 30 seconds at Behemoth because Genie sucks) but had probably my best ever End of the World in this category. This run shouldnt have made it, but Im glad I kept it going until the end, because you can never be too sure. Will be disjointed to run against, but with a solid time save going into the last world another PB shouldnt be too hard to get from these splits.
Not quite 2:06, but were knocking on the door! Next PB should do it unless I get another run similar to this. I will probably attempt 2:05 afterwards, but wont commit to it if it proves too frustrating.

This run marks the end of my time running level 1 categories in this game (at least for a good amount of time). This run was kind of all over the place with a shaky beginning and ending, but the middle portion of it was amazing. Hades Cup was something else and Ill probably never match that high of quality again. Unfortunate that superbosses to the end of the run wasnt the best, and I did want to try to squeeze out a sub 4:30 but Ill take this time since this category is super brutal.
Im taking leave from Level 1 speedruns to focus on other categories now. Next up is regular proud mode.")

Sorry if I seem a bit down in this video, personal life stuff was affecting me a decent bit around the time I achieved this, but Im much better now.
Honestly not the most enjoyable of runs KH1 has to offer, but looked into this for a bit just to get something decent. This can certainly be pushed down a good bit more, but I have no interest in really doing that. For the next bit of time, Im going to be prioritizing the beginner mode categories. I will probably only go back to the any% categories of the other difficulty modes at this point since thats the main thing I care about. Happy to clear out all the extended categories on each difficulty though.
