Delta Air Lines and the Queens Museum present The Worlds We Speak by Mariam Ghani as a part of the LaGuardia Arts Program.

This piece reflects a graphical showcase of the region’s diversity through a visualization of data from the NYC Language Map. The data represents the 80 most commonly spoken languages in the tri-state area gathered in the last census.

Mariam Ghani is a Brooklyn-born visual artist of Afghan and Lebanese descent, with degrees from NYU and the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
