The last day of July in 2015 and very nearly a 'Turner Sunset' on Margate Mains Sands, in Kent on a Friday evening. Visible are the Turner Contemporary Gallery at the start of the Harbour Arm and the town's most recent tourist attraction; the fine steps leading down to the beach.
As the camera pans, you can see the newly re-opened Dreamland amusement park, the town's clock tower and the 1960's landmark 'feature', the brooding Arlington skyscraper, overlooking the beach.
