What's up, y'all. Soooo lots to say. Lots, lots to say. I wish I was more productive at this time, but as you guys know there is WAYYYY too much happening as of late. I'm REALLY tripping because all public library branches are closed. And I usually go there on Thursday afternoons just to read. ; _ ; Needless to say, stay safe. We'll get through this.

These are the following four books I have planned to read out of eight for #MarchMysteryMadness 2020. I'm about 45% through Cheryl A. Head's "Bury Me When I'm Dead"–having started it last Friday. My reading hasn't been going great with it, though. I decided now is a good time to reclaim my focus by continuing forward with my TBR, and simply revisit it in pieces down the line. As for the other three books presented in the 1st half, I've read them and have individual videos chatting about my experience with them up now (the 3rd one on the way). Anyway, I have GOT TO GET BACK READING REGULARLY. LOL.

HAPPY READING TO YOU ALL!

Books mentioned (Amazon affiliate links):

1. The Black Tower (Adam Dalgliesh Mystery Series #5) @ amzn.to/2TZog8U

"Just recovered from a grave illness, Commander Adam Dalgliesh receives a call for advice from the elderly chaplain at Toynton Grange, an isolated nursing home on the coast of England. But by the time Dalgliesh arrives, Father Baddeley has mysteriously died, as has one of his patients."

2. Goldenboy: A Henry Rios Mystery by Michael Nava @ amzn.to/2Uf0YKP

"By the beginning of Goldenboy, Henry has become sober, finding spirituality in his recovery while becoming further engaged in gay activism. He decides to assist a Los Angeles attorney who is dying of AIDS with the defense of a young gay man on trial for killing a coworker who threatened to out him. Goldenboy probes explosive themes of homophobia and exploitation within the gay community and also introduces Josh Mandel, who will become a critical part of the series arc."

3. A Skeleton in the Family (A Family Skeleton Mystery) by Leigh Perry @ amzn.to/39ZXRNG

"Moving back into her parents’ house with her teenage daughter had not been Georgia Thackery’s “Plan A.” But when she got a job at the local college, it seemed the sensible thing to do. So she settled in and began reconnecting with old friends. Including Sid. Sid is the Thackery family’s skeleton. He’s lived in the house as long as Georgia can remember, although no one, including Sid, knows exactly where he came from and how he came to be a skeleton."

4. Golden in Death: An Eve Dallas Novel (In Death, Book 50) by J. D. Robb @ amzn.to/390D0s2

"Pediatrician Kent Abner received the package on a beautiful April morning. Inside was a cheap trinket, a golden egg that could be opened into two halves. When he pried it apart, highly toxic airborne fumes entered his body―and killed him.

After Eve Dallas calls the hazmat team―and undergoes testing to reassure both her and her husband that she hasn’t been exposed―it’s time to look into Dr. Abner’s past and relationships. Not every victim Eve encounters is an angel, but it seems that Abner came pretty close―though he did ruffle some feathers over the years by taking stands for the weak and defenseless. While the lab tries to identify the deadly toxin, Eve hunts for the sender. But when someone else dies in the same grisly manner, it becomes clear that she’s dealing with either a madman―or someone who has a hidden and elusive connection to both victims."
