I recently acquired a PowerBook 180c. Everything works. Well, almost everything. The battery cells are dust and the hard drive is on it’s way out. Otherwise, it’s fine.

Ron, from Ron’s Computer Videos (like and subscribe at youtube.com/c/RonsComputerVideos), has a lot of experience with this model. He cautioned that the video board caps can leak at any time and ruin the board. Better to recap now, before they cause damage.

Went to my favorite supplier for recapping kits, console5.com. They didn’t have a kit. And they sorted it out from measurements and photos I provided. Great company!
