We came to the realization that Macintosh II and Macintosh IIx computers require math coprocessors (FPUs) in order to boot properly. I made a small adapter to adapt some PLCC FPUs that I had around to the PGA socket.

I think I’m going to call this system: “The Cordyceps IIx”
