I filmed this TBR video before I started my book club and before G from BookRoast had announced the Orillium Gear Up mini readathon so those aren't mentioned in this video but I WILL be participating in both! I'll be reading Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk for our book club and for Orillium I'm going to film a little reading vlog for it, so you'll see what I'm reading for those 2 prompts a bit later in the month.

How I Play My Game ::
I start by going over the previous months tbr. If I read all the books I get to spin a wheel of reward prompts. If I fail to complete my tbr I spin a wheel of challenge prompts. Said prompt is applied to the new months tbr.

I roll a D8 dice to choose how many cards I select for my tbr.

The 78 tarot cards all have a unique prompt assigned to them. I tried to match the prompts to a meaning of that specific tarot card as best I could. The 22 major arcana have no genre attached. To the 4 suits I have assigned genres that reflect my most read. Wands: Fantasy & Sci-fi, Cups: Romance & Erotica, Swords: Horror & Thriller, Pentacles: General Fiction.

Once I lay out my spread, if I have 3 or more of any suit or the major arcana it is considered a plus one and I have a jar that I pull from with book titles matching each section.

Thats it!

I'm always looking for prompt ideas for my wheels. Feel free to offer suggestions in the comments! At the moment I have:

Challenges - Rollover incomplete tbr to next month, BIG book, +1 card, Max Prompts (8), No Doubling Up (cant be reading for anything else), Tarot Pairs (use two cards to pick each book instead of one).

Rewards - Best of 2 spreads, mood read (can choose 1 during the month), free pick (choose whatever I want for 1 in game), Genre Switch (1 card), Smol Book, -1 (take away a card of my choosing)

(I am not sponsored or affiliated with them in any way. I just bought the deck for my own personal use and have modified it to suit my game.)

A big THANK YOU to everyone who has subscribed, old and new. I appreciate you!!!
