Fresno is on track for a potentially historic heat wave — in the middle of March.
Forecasters say we could see more 90-degree days this week than in over 140 years of record keeping, with highs climbing into the low 90s from Tuesday through Saturday. The current March record is 91 degrees, and that could be at risk.
This early-season heat is part of a larger California-wide warm-up, with temperatures running far above normal for this time of year.
