The Oregon Department of Transportation along with community partners asked high school students to design a billboard to educate drivers – especially young drivers - about the dangers of work zones and encourage safe driving. Our latest winners were Ethan, Rona, and teacher Matt Kabza (CTE Business/Marketing) from Grant high school.
A panel chose two winning design. Each design will be displayed on at least one billboard for four weeks in the ODOT region where the winning submission's school is located. The students each won a $250 scholarship from the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon's Education Foundation.
