On 16 December 1944, Marcel Cerdan fought Ralph Barnley (credited as Technical Sergeant Barnley) in a middleweight bout held in Brancaccio, Rome, Italy during World War II. Cerdan dominated the match, knocking Barnley down multiple times before securing a technical knockout. This fight, captured in archival footage and now presented in HD colorized format, highlights Cerdan’s power and skill during his wartime boxing career. Marcel Cerdan would later go on to become European and world middleweight champion and is regarded as one of the premier boxers of his era.
