MARBLE MACHINE DESIGN CHALLENGE

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:
• Curved Stainless steel sheet metal base, 1mm thin, 1600mm diameter bend
• Holes are laser or watercut in the curved base
• Profiles Max Width 9mm
• Profiles Max Height above base 40mm
• Profiles lengths varies from 80mm-200mm
• 3D Printed, design for printability
• Snaps in and out from the top surface (no fastening from the undersideof the base)
• Must stay perpendicular to base within +-1mm of top of profile
• Top reading surface can have different heights (20/30/40mm) within the same profile
• Center-center distance 10mm between programming channels
• Lengthwise position tolerance +- 0.4mm
• Heightwise position tolerance +-1mm
• Design submission must be Onshape Links, no further documentation
