I have challenged Tracey from @miniscenesgb marble dipping.
On my second dive into marble dipping, acrylic inks slipped away from me, refusing to bloom on the water’s surface.
Nail polish, instead, unfurled into galaxies — deep swirls of night with dark grey and shimmering bright blue and pink.
With a white oil paint marker, I scattered stars across the cosmos,
and traced the rim in silver, like the edge of a moon.
A creation born of trial and play and after the acrylic flop, I enjoyed the galaxies that came to life.
