There’s a cat in Marathon that shouldn’t exist… Bingus — also known as Kaal1 is one of the strangest and most unsettling pieces of Marathon lore. Created by Sekiguchi Genetics, this “pet” was turned into an immortal synthetic lifeform… keeping its memories, personality, and consciousness intact. But now, hundreds of years later, it’s still out there.

Players are spotting this mysterious cat in-game watching, disappearing, and possibly evolving far beyond what it was meant to be. And with connections to rampancy, AI behavior, and even Durandal… things get a lot deeper than they seem.
