Marathon Petroleum will host a public meeting next month to address the Aug. 4 incident at the El Paso refinery that spewed thousands of pounds of contaminants into the air.

The company confirmed that it will host a community meeting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Riverside High School, 301 Midway Dr.
