Marathon already has some of the best gameplay in the extraction genre right now, but it could be even better with a few key additions.

In this video, I go over some of the most important features that could improve the overall experience, from quality of life upgrades like inventory management and loadouts, to bigger systems like crafting, progression, and map design.

These aren’t balance changes, these are the kinds of additions that could take Marathon to the next level and keep players engaged long term.

If Bungie adds even a few of these, Marathon could easily become one of the best extraction shooters out there.
