DARTHVR | Marathon, Bungie's FPS classic from 1994 - free on Steam! - gameplay Aleph One source port @DARTHVRNET | Uploaded September 2024 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.

Gameplay trying Marathon for the first time, the classic by Bungie (Halo, Destiny) from 1994, which was a "Doom clone" for Apple Macintosh. It is currently free to download on Steam with the Aleph One source port that allows to play it on current PCs.
The game isn't bad, it's entertaining for 90's FPS fans, and you can see that it wasn't trying to be a mere clone, with things like a story of some importance during the game and with objectives to accomplish. But the control has too much inertia and is a bit uncomfortable to play, so is worse than Doom in the gameplay aspect.
