The End Game - Black Mage with VanarisDB.
While it was a good thing that most of us agreed to play more bravely, I played so badly that I almost died out. Lost so many lives with all my resources available, i-frame, hero's will, erda's will, BoD recast... Luckily I didn't spoil the team's party at the end of the day. Congratulations to Dazzleee and AuroraSoluna (ZehroHH's Soul Master) on starting their genesis weapon quest! The 3 other attackers are just one final step away from liberating, exciting times ahead.
PS: Lucid quest's cutscene is at the end of the fight.

Were excited to welcome and guide our new bishop Dazzleee to his first Black Mage experience. CarteThrone has swapped to his Ark to unlock his genesis quest. ZehroHH will probably swap to his Soul Master next month. A long minute of silence for Dazzleee when we realised he didnt get his genesis weapon quest started, so he couldnt get his well deserved reward in the Genesis Staff. June cant arrive any sooner.

Finally, congrats to Rach(VanarisK) and gramps(OnyxBasilisk) on clearing the boss with us! This is also the first run were clearing without Elvennevles carry. Really glad to have Binkee on board so we have good burst potentials, especially when hes the only bishop Ive gone with who actively debuffs the boss via Big Bang! Occasional procs of 10b lines during Asura under his prayer was pleasing to the eye. This also marks the day where Rach survive both the Will and Hilla boss fights since taking over the kanna. Well done team, lets make it to all 6 surviving next run!

[MapleStory SEA] VanarisDBs Equipment Review (Aquila)
Its been a long journey. Ive finally managed 3 lines on all my main potentials (except gloves) and hit a significant luk landmark at the start of 2019. So here it is, for my friends, followers and all who are curious.
Some points of interest:
- My kataras main potential has pretty much defined and carried my character, apart from almost all other dual blades, due to the high damage% required to optimise WSE on this specific class. If I have to assign one trophy item, this is it.
- My Kannas Treasure and Breath of Divinity are at 20* intentionally. They are already best in slot rings so Im unwilling to take the 7% destruction risk in trying for 21* or 22*, since Kannas Treasure is irreplaceable and Breath of Divinity is too costly to justify the risk in my opinion.
- Frontier C Chicle is probably my next project. Ive bombed three so far before kishin nerf and never continued farming for it since...
- Seven-Day Monster Park Badge is absolute key to compliment my 21%Att 30%IED emblem in my damage output against bosses. Ideally I would really prefer a 40%IED 18%Att potential on my emblem but Im not about to recube this. Maybe with the future change in hyper stats from 30%IED to 45%IED, I may be tempted to aim for a 30%Att emblem. (PS: MapleSEA please dont make Sengoku Badge pottable and starrable)
- Yes I should be working on getting 21%Att on my emblems additional potential for 2.7% more output but Ive never managed to accumulate enough cash (1.5m and above) to take the plunge. This emblems additional potential is 2 years old...
- Str is also a secondary stat of dual blade(as with shadower and cadena). Both str and dex weigh 1/4 of luk values, they may be less significant but they definitely help. Most thief exclusive equipments only have base dex and luk but no str, so some work has to be put in to unlocking str at 15-22*. As a result, as% becomes significant in my case, like how my belt’s main potential is more effective than 30%luk. I may reflame my glove and cape in future for as% + luk.
- Huge strokes of luck include:
1) 40 black cubes for my 16% Crit Damage glove.
2) 4 HQEES for 14th star and 2 HQEES for 15th star on tyrant belt.
3) Jackpot luk flame on Dominator Pendant - my only jackpot luk flame ever.
4) 9 hexacubes for 30%luk on my pants.
5) 20 red cubes for my daggers 70%Boss 9%Att - technically only 100%Boss would be the only possible better outcome assuming 1 prime 2 non prime lines.
6) Starring 22* Outlaw Heart and 20* Breath of Divinity with 4 other teammates successfully with only one Outlaw Heart casualty.
Unlucky moments well... nvm. Lets just remember the good times~

[MapleStory SEA] Genesis Weapon Quest - Hard Lucid Solo with VanarisDB (Night Lord)
Rise Patch just hit on yesterday, its still the middle of the month and Im still training as a Night Lord so I decided to attempt the quest for fun to see how far I can go without my Dual Blades i-frames and Arcaneshade weapon (Im using a Fafnir Risk Holder).
As you may observe through the run, I was hardly prepared; no damage special cores, forgot to use guild noblesse skills until midway in phase 2, forgot to change out of my exp link skills, left my crit rate at 94%, and the list goes on...
I was at 30% of the last bar in phase 2 when I accidentally cast Bleeding Toxin, which has a 200 seconds cooldown and I was forced to run down the clock. Lost my last 2 expendable lives as a result and almost died out right before transitioning into phase 3, certainly broke some cold sweat. Damage buff from guild noblesse and guild potion expired as a result. Transition into phase 3 was good and the rest is history, the 24%hp nerf to hard Lucid has certainly exceeded our expectations. The nerf to phase 1 and phase 2 was crucial as well, saving death counts in phase 1 especially, and allowing more time wasting in phase 2.
I cant help but get excited about liberating the genesis weapon now that the 2 toughest quests are out of the way. See you in June, Heretic Hilla!")

Smooth server today! Had a warm up run on Kanna just a few minutes before. Everyone (including the second DK user on x3Stupidx) was comfortable with the entire process and there was no panic. Cleared Phase 2 without any fuss! Changed drop gears but didnt have any luck with the arcaneshade equipment drop. Grats PuaPehNurse2 on farming enough stones for acs shoulders!
