IN-DEPTH STRATEGY IN DESCRIPTION

Urus is not an easy boss to solo on many classes because of how frequent bombs appear during the run. However, every class is capable of soloing it providing you can clear the boss fast enough. Grab as many Symbols and passive non-Potential equipment effects; you're going to need all of it.

The trick is to save burst skills until after you've successfully avoided the first bomb through Hero's Will (this is the hardest part to get right, as the timing must be near-perfect), then survive the second bomb using Takeno's Blessing. Always stand inside the forearms, and attack the head!

Cooldown skip chance (i.e. Inner Ability, Monster Life) and Eunwol's Link Skill are highly recommended, as Reaper's Pendant does not work inside the boss room. However, as proven in this video, they are not mandatory. Keep in mind that when using Takeno's Blessing, you must use it at the very last moment because it is possible for Urus' multi-hit roar (the one with super knockback) to remove your invincibility buff.

Once you get to the third phase, Urus is basically finished. As he's stuck in a continuous stampede, Urus will no longer cast bombs. Just make sure to keep restoring your health because you'll have to deal with a combination of a large amount of debris and the stampede itself.

The best set-up for Urus requires four Adventure Rings for a massive Critical Damage boost. In the several thousands of Urus runs I've organized, I can confirm that stacking four Adventure Rings greatly outperforms even the strongest Seed ring set-up. You can read more about Adventure Rings here:
