In an effort to reduce our energy consumption from the grid (and subsequently, our overal carbon footprint), we recently installed an array of solar panels on the roof of our Delta, B.C. facility – a plant that itself achieved LEED Certification in 2012. Now, 25% of the electricty used in the plant is being generated through these photoelectric cells, which provide 100% renewable energy to manufacture our products for Western Canada! At MAPEI Canada sustainability isn’t just a catchphrase; it’s how we roll.
