Trams, light rail, double-deck main line trains, an interurban train ride and more at Stadelhofen station in Zürich Switzerland.
The ride is on a ForchBahn light rail train. It ends at the Kreuzplatz stop where we also see a double articulated (bi-artic) trolleybus. These electrically powered buses can also travel in battery mode, topping-up their batteries when connected to the overhead wires (IMC - in-motion charging) which is much more flexible than 'opportunity charging' where the bus must be taken out of service for battery charging at a fixed location.
To celebrate my return to good health after several hospital stays and fitting of a pacemaker I had a short stay in Switzerland.
