Dolly Parton fans are still in shock following the country music icon’s death Wednesday. Her impact is being felt across New Mexico, especially among children through her Imagination Library program, a nonprofit that provides registered children in every New Mexico ZIP code with one book each month.

Avalon, assistant manager at Antiques and Things, regularly plays Parton’s music in the store. KOAT Reporter Kara Mihm visited the antique store in Nob Hill, only to find that all of Parton’s vinyl records had sold out, a sign of just how deeply she is loved.
