The FoOP JAZZ TRIO play Mann ist Mann. "Mann ist Mann" ("Man Equals Man" a.k.a. "A Man's a Man") is a play by the German modernist playwright Bertolt Brecht which premiered in 1926. Kurt Weill worked with Brecht to compose songs for the play. That was completed by 1931. Lyrics are not used in this performance. The FoOP JAZZ TRIO features Steven Strauss on Risa electric soprano ukulele, Ed Johnson on wash-tub bass ("gutbucket"), and Cynthia Wilson on the drums.
