Friday Night Funkin' is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., which consists primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.
The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.
Vs. Mouse is a mod created by the Novatos team, and its directed by Jara and formerly pancito. This mod is created by the Novatos Team (now known as Magic League Studios), The mod is currently being continued as The Magical World of DisneyFunk.
Vs. Mouse: 2.6 Revival is a mod created and directed by Scott Kaery (Formerly).
The mod serves as a revival of the cancelled 2.6 update of the original Vs. Mouse and includes much of the original assets of the original mod and adding new content that one-ups the 2.5v2 update of Vs. Mouse, the "good update" to be exact. Currently, Scott/Delight does not want to release Kaery's canceled build to the public, possibly out of respect for him. However, he has released a recent build of 2.6, which only has Disk 1 in it, as a troll.
Vs Mouse: Rookies Edition is a mod created and developed by the Rookies Team and directed by LocalAracknid/Delight (Scott), ForFurtherNotice and The Hall Monitor. The mod serves as a sequel to Treasure Funkin' Ultimate.
Markus takes center stage as one of the main opponents of Disk 1 of this mod. He is an experiment designed to be like the happy-go-lucky and whimsical mascot of the Disney, Mickey Mouse. While he seems to be the most successful experiment out of all of them, he still has numerous problems and is prone to being really aggressive and feral. Despite this, he still mostly carries the mannerisms of the real Mickey Mouse.
Marko is the angrier, more serious rival of Markus. He is the original owner of the clubhouse, and the second opponent of Disk 1.
