Manhunt Windows 10 Fix - This is a tutorial on how to fix the buggy AI in Manhunt 1 when playing on Windows 10.
Manhunt supposedly needs to run at around 60fps. However, on Windows 10 the game runs at unlimited FPS. This causes the AI to glitch constantly throughout the game, where bugs can be both major and minor problems. This is a separate issue to game crashes, and the “Born Again” gate glitch etc. Even installing fixes for these bugs will not always fix the AI. As a result, the AI can walk into walls, get stuck in place, behave differently to how they are meant to, and some in-game cutscenes will not work properly.
To fix this we need to limit the FPS of Manhunt ourselves using a program with a framerate limiter for games. Alternatively, there are settings in your GPU control panel (e.g. Nividia Control Panel, AMD Radeon Settings) such as "Vertical Sync" and "Triple Buffering" you may want to try turning on.
