Figured out that quitting is actually faster than waiting for the animation.
Not sure what that glitch was. It seemed to be the game forgetting where the player was, and setting him at 0, 0, which is at the top left of the map. And since the walls are two-way walls I couldn't clip back in. (I also couldn't jump)
I think what activated it was me pressing quit multiple times in a row (spamming the button) before letting the animation go. Maybe it can end up useful, maybe not.
