The Manawatu Classic Motorcycle Club ran another very successful rally at Camp Rangi Woods. The run up through the Pohangina valley, the Twin Gorges and back down to through Rangiwahia made for an excellent ride. The Rushes Museum was a wonderful lunch stop where the Thomas father and son engineers impressed with there hand built car and motorcycles. It was then back to camp and a few pre dinner drinks followed by an excellent roast meal and pudding. Prize giving saw just about everyone collect something to take home. This was then followed by a most interesting talk from a gentleman who was working at McMurdo when the erebus tragedy occurred. A really sobering talk.
