It is always dangerous when you read the biographies of people who you greatly admire. My fabulous wife bought the (now Dame) Jacinda Ardern autobiography for my birthday last year and I just finished it today.

Jacinda uses the Maori word Manaakitanga in the book, a definition here:

I can comfortably say that my great respect for Jacinda and her legacy has only increased after reading the biography, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I have been watching the Brokenwood Mysteries, and it is triggering my nostalgia for New Zealand, though I haven't lived there for 45 years.
