This project is a full DIY camper conversion carried out by Yudai Kawase, who transformed a Nissan Vanette 1-ton truck into a handcrafted mobile home. Unlike many lightweight conversions, this build takes advantage of the Vanette’s wide platform, dual rear wheels, and strong chassis to create a stable and spacious living space. The camper features insulated walls and roof, custom wooden cladding inside and out, modular furniture with integrated storage, and a complete electrical system to power lighting, outlets, and appliances.
