Father says he's going to challenge the wage gap by giving his daughter more money than his son. Fails to notice that this will do nothing to end a wage gap since his daughter isn't EARNING the money herself. Further fails to note that emphasizing his daughter's role as victim and recipient of male financial largess buys into the same socialization that leads to the wage gap. Finally fails to note how he has also done his part in creating the wage gap by funding his wife in not working. Then completes a TOTAL FAIL hat trick by saying his wife has fewer choices than him even though she has the choice to work or not work and HE DOESN'T.
All of this fail fuelled by an inability to connect women's choices to their outcomes, thus illustrating the man in question is saturated by the same dynamic that causes the wage gap in the first place.
