▶ A Colombian national was captured last week as he attempted to board a flight from Cartagena to Amsterdam carrying 19 cocaine capsules hidden under a toupee, Colombian authorities said Monday, Feb. 24.
👉 According to the commander of the Cartagena Metropolitan Police, Brigadier General Gelver Yecid Pena Araque, the bust was made after a profiling procedure and prevented the sale of more than 400 doses of cocaine, valued at more than $10,500 on the international market.
The suspect was handed over to the Attorney General's Office for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotic substances. (REUTERS)
