A man believed to be in his 20s has been shot dead during a home invasion in Glen Alpine, Sydney's southwest, just before 4am. Police responded to reports of the incident at quarter to four, with the victim pronounced dead within minutes of their arrival after being shot multiple times. Neighbours reported seeing two suspicious vehicles in the area the previous day that they had never seen before, which police are now investigating.
