This video shows the devastating effects of drug driving and how an innocent member of the public nearly lost their life. The shocking collision was caused by Ben Critchley, who was driving whilst under the influence of cocaine.

Ben Critchley, aged 38, of Western Avenue, Greenford, has been sentenced to two years, eight months’ imprisonment 🚫 Disqualified from driving for 4 years + 16-month extension 🛑 and must pass an extended re-test before driving again.

Thankfully, the victim in this case survived his injuries, although there is still a long road ahead for him as he continues to recover. We praise his bravery.

🚫 It takes many hours to be sober after substance use. As we approach the Christmas and New Year Period, this is a stark reminder to always stay sober on the roads. You don't risk only one life if you drink/drug drive. 🎄🚗

📽️ Permission obtained from the victim to share this footage.
