Saqib Mohammed Jawaid, aged 23 of High Wycombe, was sentenced to a year and two months in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Saturday 23/7. Jawaid was also disqualified from driving for two years and seven months, with him needing to complete an extended retest in order to regain his licence.

After being spotted speeding by officers in Amersham, Jawaid accelerated away from them after an attempted stop. The Mercedes Jawaid was driving reached speeds of up 100mph in a 50mph limit in order to avoid arrest, he also went through red lights and drove roundabouts the wrong way.
