A Mormon preacher accidentally smokes salvia for the first time and finds himself in a parallel reality in which time has been dilated. Over the course of being trapped in this parallel reality for 8 years, he convinces himself that his former life is a false memory in order to adapt to his new life in the parallel reality. After escaping from the parallel reality & returning to his old life, he immediately removes himself and his family from the Mormon church because he’s convinced that a just God would never allow something so horrific to happen to anyone. His religious beliefs were forever changed from his experience.
