A Montgomery County man is behind bars, charged in connection with the death of his three-month-old son.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced the arrest of Jameel Earthy East in a news release issued Wednesday afternoon.
According to Ferman, 3-month-old Enzo East was transported to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Friday with a fractured skull and brain injury.
Enzo died at CHOP just after 8:00 Saturday evening.
Ferman said the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's office performed an autopsy Monday and determined that Enzo died because of two skull fractures from blunt force trauma. They ruled the death a homicide.Jameel is charged with third degree murder and unsworn falsification to authorities.
