Cass teasing Toby ends up hitting a bit harder than she meant to....
...but they're always there to look out for each other.
I've shown this a bit in other animations, but Toby's mom died when he was around 7 years old, in complications when the Twins were born. Their dad... (kind of) left after that. He was still there, but too distant and lost in his grief to really be a father to Toby and the Twins.
Toby never really processed his grief, and holds a lot of resentment for his family. He knows the Twins aren't to blame, so instead he just directs all his bitterness towards his dad.
I need to do more happy animations about my OCs :D
This was really just a wind down from the God animation, I needed something "fun" and simple, so this was perfect c:
