This follows years of hard work by the government and people of Mali, with support from international partners @Helen Keller Intl, @Sightsavers, and @The Carter Center, and funders like @hiltonfound.
This is an incredible milestone, but trachoma still plagues other countries – let’s all continue to work together to wipe out this painful and potentially blinding disease.
