What's something you were really sure about... only to find out later you weren't totally correct? For best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell, it's how we influence each other.

Malcolm sits down with Jessi Hempel to explore how the power of influence has evolved in the last 20 years.

In his new book, Revenge of the Tipping Point: Overstories, Superspreaders, and the Rise of Social Engineering, Malcolm reflects on social epidemics and influence. He offers a new look at how social media, superspreaders, and AI has transformed our social landscape and the very idea of influence.

In this conversation he also encourages us all to call ourselves out if one of our ideas starts to fall apart. Rethinking an old idea isn't a sign that we failed, but that we are constantly evolving.

“Admitting that your ideas were wrong and that you've learned something different
is something that strengthens you in the eyes of others,” Malcolm says.
