I knew just how unoriginal I was in the second I saw 20 other vids with the same song💀 but anyways

I know I'm really late to the party but this vid was an exhausting pain in the ass and it took me more than a week to get it done. The final result is not satisfying at all to me but I don't want to work on it anymore, so here u go. Enjoy my crappy skills once more🥴

When I first started reading the Grishaverse, I was in a really dark spot. I was in a phase when I had no friends because all of them left me for some reasons. And then my mom urged me to read this trilogy that she loved so much, and I wasn't really excited about it but as I was bored to death anyway, I decided to do it. And I've never been happier.

The Grishaverse brought me to tears of laughter and sadness, it made me believe in friendship and love again and it was truly the most beautiful book series I've ever read in my life. It showed me that only when you're yourself you're truly beautiful, and that no matter what the world tells you to be, you should stay as you are and love whoever the f you want to.

You can guess how excited I was that my favorite books were being adapted. I was following every single step of the creating of the show that was showed outside of set, and I loved it way before it was streaming on Netflix. I just knew those actors wouldn't disappoint me, and I was fucking right. The show had some flaws but overall I loved it tons and I watched it twice already (more rewatches are on the way for sure), it's probably gonna be my new comfort show hehe💗

So, the hard part of writing this description is finally letting the words out for Mal&Alina and i'm probably gonna get tons of hate for it but eh, who cares, right?

I hated that they removed the kisses in s1 for the sake of fan service. Mal and Alina's first kiss was an important moment for their relationship, and the fact that the writers erased it hurt me a lot. I teared up while reading that part of the book, and not seeing it on screen was like a punch in the face. I'm glad that at least we got a lot of other moments (like the "I see you now" scene, that was beautiful af, and also the true north letters, uwu). I hope in s2 they'll finally do them justice and probably give a little bit of the angst that was in the books, huh?

Since I've never mentioned it before, I'll say it now - if there's a couple that I love more than Mike&Eleven, it's Mal&Alina. I've never felt so attached to a couple in my life before, and they were the first one that actually made me feel things as if they were happening to me too. I loved them since the very first page when Mal told her "I don't think you're ugly", like bruh? And yall are out there hating on him for being the reason Alina was skinny? Some messed up shit here. My boy knew exactly how unhealthy Alina looked but as he had no idea how to help her with that (since, yknow, he didn't know she was Grisha? and he was a kid?) he did the only thing he could - he tried to make her feel okay about her appearance. So, stop the Mal slaughter for stupid shit as that.

I'm really scared to write this down, but I will. I can't believe I thought that after showing the stag scene in such a graphic way, and then making the "necklace" out of the stag's antlers, yall would finally stop romanticizing that shit, but nope. Yeah bruh I'm sure everyone would love for their "love interest" to violate their body in such way, threaten their friends, lie to them the whole time and then make them kill an entire village? Yup. I'd love that too.

Yall know that your beloved Darkling tried to r*pe Alina in the second book, yes? Or everyone just ignores this now? To bring it back in your memory, she had a fight with Mal at the palace and then "he" came to her room and they started making out and taking their clothes off, until - oops - Alina looked into his eyes, and they were grey. So, suddenly now, it's totally okay that the Darkling tried to assault her and made out with her without any consent, but it's not okay that Mal was acting like a human being? And everyone actually thinks this is okay?

I've been done with this fandom in the second I saw the Mal slaughter and I still am. Never forgiving yall for justifying a character that's based on Leigh Bardugo's abuser. That woman didn't write this piece of shit for yall to stan him. Ugh.
