Episode 190 of Making Turbo Pit-fighter continues our 2026 push to finally bring this post-apocalyptic indie comic—created by Jake Jacobs and Kurt Brugel in 1999—to print. The goal: have all pages of The Duke penciled by Alex Turbin completed by the end of February.
In this livestream, Kurt keeps moving forward on inking The Duke pages and handing them off to Jake, who resizes, formats, and prepares them for lettering. It’s a real-time look at the long-haul process of finishing a comic decades in the making—workflow decisions, problem solving, and steady progress toward DOOM Magazine #1.
