Yeah, yeah, I know it was pronounced as "e-merl" in Sonic X, but I think "Em-er-al" still sounds more natural to me, so I'll stick with it here.
Anyways, this was created since Sonic Battle turns 20 years old in Japan in five days, so Happy Anniversary to Sonic Battle! ;)

This is a remastered mashup between the English version of Lifelight from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and You Can Do Anything theme from the Japanese/Europe version of Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
I was never really satisfied with the original mashup that I did 3 years ago, so I decided that changes were needed, and here are the followings:
-The mockup screenshot, as shown in this video, uses a different visual edit.
-The instrumental uses an isolated version of the original instead of the 2011 remastered instrumental.
The vocals for Lifelight were ripped from the files, rather than being ripped from a YouTube video.
-The vocals for Lifelight halfway at the end of the mashup comes from the first-half instead of the last-half.
-The backing vocals for Lifelight have been removed.
-The vocals for Lifelight has its key changed to E major for most parts, as the original had its key in E minor for all parts.
-The vocals for Lifelight was pitched up to 2 semitones in Melodyne, rather than just simply using Audacity to do the job, which means it mostly no longer sounds like a chipmunk.
-The entire audio track has been mastered, making it sound much cleaner.
Of course, this is FAR from perfect, but I did my best, nonetheless.
Also: HAPPY 30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG CD!!! ;)
