Part of 3 making my Princess Bubblegum iconography gown design - check back for the next part!

Smocking was by far the most time consuming part of this stage - I ended up lattice smocking fifteen yards of fabric, bringing it into work and working on it during my lunch break every day for weeks. I ended up not liking my original skirt trim design very much, so I tweaked it a little bit to make these smocking "windows" out of some flipped lace fabric!
