This is a 24 minute full-on lesson in creating custom templates quickly for installing specialized hardware for doors like a PRO. The video wraps up with another 12+ minutes of Special Features that show the custom templates in use for installing designer grade Emtek pocket door pull hardware. Methods and steps shown can be adapted to all manner of hardware items for any time non-prehung millwork is being installed. Making quick and accurate templates and using a router with a pattern bit to mortise for flush-mounting hardware is usually much faster and always more accurate and repeatable than the 'score and chisel' method that was the norm in carpentry since the beginning.
