How much time does a laser cutter really save in leathercraft? I guess to get that answer first you need to know what laser you're using. Time to see how much faster my Thunder Laser Bolt Pro 32 is than my hands, 55w RF power, versus Magnus power.
In this leathercraft build video, I make a set of fantasy leather vambraces with Celtic Viking knotwork, but one is completely by hand, and the other using a laser cutter.
This is a real time comparison between traditional hand tooled leather armor and laser cut leather armor.
Both vambraces use the exact same pattern. The same leather. The same finishing process. The only difference is the workflow.
