Looking back on 2024 and all the locations I’ve discovered this year and adventures I’ve had, man, what a year. I’ll do a recap video in a few days, but some highlight photography-specific moments this year were:

- Exploring over a dozen new locations for cherry blossoms this year.
- When my homies came and we road-tripped in Kansai.
- Solo road-tripping in my new car all the way to Kansai to finish my Photography Guide to Kyoto book.
- Finally seeing the spider lillies at Kinchakuda Park.
- My recent New Zealand trip with my homies.

Even though I didn’t take as many shots this year as I usually do (only around 50,000), it was still a fantastic year for photography for me.

Here’s to an even better 2025! 🥂
