Learn how to make easy fringe designs with your embroidery machine in this easy step-by-step machine embroidery tutorial. Fringe embroidery is a fun way to turn your flat embroidery into raised, touchable texture, and this sheep embroidery shows exactly how that looks.
We used Polyfast™ and Polymatte™ so you can see how much the thread changes the mood of a project.
Polyfast™ gives you vibrant color with a glossy shine, while Polymatte™ lays down a muted, satin like finish with almost no glare. Either way, the underside stays clean thanks to 80 weight DecoBob™ prewound bobbins, one shade for the main design and a darker one specifically for the fringe stitches, which makes trimming so much easier later. Total Support™ handles stabilizing duties and tears away cleanly once you're done.
This project was stitched on a BERNINA B 990, a precise and intuitive embroidery machine from BERNINA Canada.
