Caterpillar cocoons can be used to make interesting fabric. First, the cocoons are soaked in boiling water. Then, they are unwound. The resulting fibers are twisted together to form thread, which can be used to make silk. Silk is made from caterpillar cocoons. This video answers the following questions:
