This was a whirlwind of a project! Making Damascus steel is quite the process and we’re so grateful to Alec Steele for giving us the how to. We forge welded the steel together, chopped it up, forge welded it again, and then drilled into it to give it a raindrop damascus pattern. So cool! It was really fun using the power hammer for the first time

We’ll be turning this raindrop damascus into a blade for our 3D printed knife handle in part 2 so stay tuned! Lots of cutting, grinding, sanding, filing, shaping, and some dance moves will be had.
