🤧🌿🥃 INGREDIENTS & INSTRUCTIONS (This is just one of many ways to make a cold and cough syrup!):
* 2 T Rose Hips (🌱Grown & Dried from my Herb Garden) for Vitamin C for Immune System
* 2 T Chamomile & Borage Flowers (🌱Grown & Dried from my Herb Garden) for various Cold & Flu Symptoms
* One Handful of Mint Leaves (🌱Grown & Dried from my Herb Garden) for Cough and Cold & Flu Symptoms, especially digestive ones
* 1 T Cloves for Sore Throat & Pain Relief
* 1 Teabag contents of Licorice Root for Cough, Mucus, & Opening Bronichals/Lungs
* Loving Thoughts of Health & Healing
* Add ingredients to 2 Cups water & bring to a boil. Simmer/cook down for about an hour. About half way through the rose hips will be soft. Gently crush them (BE CAREFUL of squirts and splatter) to release all the Vitamin C goodness for the rest of the simmer time.
* Strain (use also a cheesecloth if you don't like any teeny tiny bits in the liquid)
* Add Honey (Anti-bacterial & Anti-viral benefits), ideally raw and local. Use about 1/2 to equal amount of the liquid, depending on taste.
*Store in the refrigerator for up to a few weeks, but I usually make this when someone is sick, and it's used up long before that.
* Take 1 teaspoon (child 2 and up) or 1 Tablesoon (adult) approximately every 4 hours.
