This week we made our own chopped straw bedding (02:26) with our leaf shredder. We usually purchase chopped straw for our chicken coop bedding at the feed store. This year we ended up buying a massive straw bale and a leaf shredder to make out own. As far as working on the shop... It was supposed to be a productive week but it ended up being a dud.. I had to work a lot of overtime which isn't a bad thing as we have bills to pay, but we had hoped to get the shop painted by now.. I did manage to get some work done on the shipping containers.
